18-Years by Yankoby SandyPComment by yanko: Good shot! The softer aspect gives it something new. I'm on the fence as to which I like better, this one or the sharper one (i.e. 8 years). I think something in the middle would have been best. Good luck! |

Flamingo Fancyby SandyPComment by jaysonmc: Beautiful shot, if I didn't know better I would swear this bird was stuffed. :) Gorgeous color and framing. |

18-Years by Yankoby SandyPComment by LN13: Your cat had a great resemblence to Yanko's cat, and you've nailed the catchlights in the eyes dead-on. I give Yanko's shot the edge for it sharpness. |

Day 13 - Another View of the San Antonio Riverwalkby SandyPComment by Yo_Spiff: Nice picture. I was there for a short business trip the other day, (Last time was AF basic training in '79!) and I was interested in seeing what others had done photographing the same scenery. I'm learning a lot from looking at others work here. |

Sacred Rythmby SandyPComment by levyj413: Sandy, I'm back for a second comment. This shot could be used to demonstrate so many things about good photography. First, there's that strong horizon line that is nicely off-center vertically. Then, there are the patterns in the graves that you caught so well, and at such a nice angle instead of face-on. I also really like the contrast between the hard-edged, manmade gravestones and the soft, organic shapes of the trees. And finally, there's the light, the glorious light! |
