01 Misty Flightby SandyPComment by MaryO: Delicately beautiful. Nice processing compensation for the uncooperative bird ;-) I can easily see the little waterfall and waves which add some interest to the background without detracting at all from the bird, and I rather like centered compositions which aren't symmetrical. You left him lots of room to keep flying. |

Every Picture Tells a Story by SandyPComment by pawdrix: Geez....I'm not sure if I commented on this one or not, if so...
This is awesome. Very cool looking lady... beautiful but at the same time a poster-child for the anti-tobacco crowd.
Love it! |

01 Misty Flightby SandyPComment by Sonifo: I am surprised you didn't enter this in the "bird" challenge. This would have been a favorite I'm sure. hmmm..wondering if you have something better up your sleeve. |

01 Misty Flightby SandyPComment by citymars: No complaints about this one! Terrific composite. I agree with you about the rules -- sometimes, after seeing shot after shot perfectly composed (so far as the rule of thirds goes), it's refreshing to see something centered. Besides, there's enough going on in this photo to make up for your composition "flaw." |

01 Misty Flightby SandyPComment by SherwinJames: Beautiful shot Sandy. I like the central positioning of the bird, and I am always a fan of the effect of fog/mist on a landscape. |

01 Misty Flightby SandyPComment by fixedintime: I love it. You did a great job with this one. My only "complaint" is that the bird is too centered in the image. There is also what looks like a series of line on the right behind the bird, I guess it is a wave crashing, but it seems a bit distracting as it does not come out clearly as a wave. |

Still Occupied ?by SandyPComment by jonfrommk: Sandy....You rock!!!!!
Its funny I would have never associated this image with you and this makes me love it even more!!!
Beautifully dark and the 'ghost' figure really adds a whole heap of atmospheric ambience. Wonderful composition that shows that great photographers can make the mundane seem striking
