Back in the old days. Nice B&W picture. Although i preffered playing outside, school was something of our youth as wekll, so perfectly for this challenge.

I really got a kick out of this picture.
Although it's not a technically brilliant as many of the other submissions I've seen on this site, it captured the challenge for me w/o taking the middle of the road.
It is one of the first planned, created photos I've done.
For the most part in the past, I've taken pictures with ambient lighting and worked with whatever positioning there is.
I know some didn't care for the DOF or contrast, and these are things I'm working on. I'm something of a purist in that I don't ever really touch up the photo with the unsharp mask or re-crop.
For these challenges I shoot in 640x480 and use the camera to crop. It just feels more 'organic' to me this way.
