I love the duality and balance in this image and that speaks zen to me, in other images the riot of grass might dispell the zennish atmosphere for me but I think the duality of the two deer heads is strong enough that it overshadows the 'busy' grass. The focus looks great and the composition is very nice, though I wish it was trimmed just a bit along the sides. I think the centered composition works well here because of the interesting visual the two deer heads make. The use of natural light is nice though I do wish it were a bit brighter, as it is the image has a slightly blah tone to it that a bit more light and maybe an enriching of the greens might spruce up. Focus looks good. I actually think this might benefit from a simple black border too, kind of frame everything with something solid. I'm bumping it up from a 5 to a 6.
