Nice idea, executed pretty well. I think it definitely fits the challenge well. I think the simplicity really helps to draw focus to the subjects (I found many entries of good ideas kind of busy, easy to get lost in). I'm not normally a stickler for the "rules" of composition, however in this case I do think that framing the subject to the right, bringing in rot, would make this a stronger shot. Nice job.

I love this picture but it feels a tad bit dark. Beautiful sky and a great composition overal a very nice photo. I love how there are almost four planes of texture. Ground, water, clear sky and clouds. Great job.
