Simple, clean and elegent in presentation. The dark background really helps the vibrant yellows of the flower petals pop visually. Focus and lighting are excellent.

This is good. Much better than the ones I was trying (before I gave up on this type of flower altogether!). Beautiful lighting, wonderful composition. After the challenge is over, I'd like to know what your lighting set-up is and how much of this is post processing. I've been trying to get shots like this and just am not quite there.

What I like best is that it is turned downwards instead of a typically happy go lucky flower shot. It almost seems sad, and the blue continues with this theme. The focus and lighting are great.
