Another favorite of mine, as I love the feeling of isolation this image portrays. I also love the softness as well, great job Debbie.....

What did you use for the soft effect you got here?

Such a dreamy effect... kinda like something out of a fairy tale book :) The filter work is good and not overdone :)

Very nice composition with this shot. I like how the building is a little off center. I think it adds to the picture b/c of the natural lean in this old building. What effects did you use to get that nice soft color/feel to the picture.

I love the filter! That is awesome. Really evokes an almost fairy tale feel to it.

I love the composition and the coloration you used. What technique is it? Quite mood evoking!

I really like this shot, looks like father time had something to do with this amazing surroundings, the lighting, colors, coposition are all good, the crop might be a bit wider to show more of the trees, I really like how the earth colors are all over the picture, with those 2 bright green doors to add a little spice.

your affection for the place clearly comes through in this shot..I imagine it is a place filled with childhood memories, softened with time. is it the same as the Poverty challenge..really I think that shot would stick with me more, the b & w hits me harder...this one the softness makes it someone else's...yet I could see it as a book cover for a romantic novel..oh yah I'm a guy, so hey great job despite my wandering thoughts.
And ..think it would make an interesting rainy day shot as well
