For Rent: Desperateby JakComment by mcrael: The colors and exposure lend to the harsh reality of the moment. However, the "For Rent" sign is out of step with the homeless person - the two I find are conflicting. Would have been better if the sign read something like "No Vacancy" or "Building Condemned". Does this make sense? |

For Rent: Desperateby JakComment by lisae: Great mood! There's such a sense of hopelessness here, it's very intense. The sign, the bars on the window, the textures of the street, and the parking meter all meld with the woman's posture to create a very familiar and poignant feeling for me. One of my 10s - lisae |
