The Big Houseby bmartuchComment by skewsme: Haha, well the Blue fans found you! This is cool. Might maybe crop below the bathroom signs and then pump up the saturation to show off the brick and the blue in the distance. Interesting that there is a kind of moire pattern there on the stands. I like the centering and the good deep focus so that I can read the words on the scoreboard. The handrails do well to lead my eyes out there as well. |

Downtownby bmartuchComment by skewsme: Hi Bob
I liked this and gave it a 6. The red light is so pretty on the bricks and the line of blue windows is really cool. Good color complementation with the rust and the blue sky. With advanced or expert editing, one thing to to consider is that you can lightly hand-burn some of the details back into the building, and clone out that lone ceiling light in the middle. Oh and with expert editing, if you're a lunatic like me, you might put something comical in one of the windows or on the roof - somebody waving or something, or a cow.... ;-) |

The doorway to hell!by bmartuchComment by MaryO: Took me a minute to find the demon, who is pretty nicely defined in the pattern. But the thing that grabs my attention first is the knobs, which I'm sure is not the point. Maybe if you had burnt the grain some more so the pattern stood out better? And/or cloned out the knobs altogether. |
