Cuckooby megryanComment by magicshutter: IMHO it's not really hidden when you set it up. I enjoy your idea, and the B&W looks great but I think you sell yourself short when you set up things like this. Had this been an ad or something I would comment differently. |

Cuckooby megryanComment by wetland: Seems a little "contrived" rather than "hidden" as I thought was intended by the challenge. Also would rather see the whole clock...and seems that sepia does not do the image justice. Bottom of chain also seems out of focus. |

Still, it is rather humorous and I think black and white is a good choice.
However, I feel like the image is a little bland and the area where there IS variation (in the upper right) is a little distracting. |

I think if this was in a different challenge it may have placed higher for the average score received (6.2), normally that would be around the top 10.....oh well I'll keep at it ! I am more than pleased with this average score so early on in my DPC submissions !

Defining Feature - EYESby megryanComment by jpochard: I keep coming back to this one. I really like the selective desat here. The focus and composition is good as well. I just feel like I should reach out and pet this pup. Just something about this I find sweet and engaging. |
