8 - Very good macro. Criticism; difficult, to really nit-pick, the glare on the eyes (almost unavoidable), the slight 'blowing' of the grass/leaf it is on and the focus/detail 'fading' down the 'body'. Opportunity capture, natural lighting, etc, make it very difficult likely to adjust/modify any of these 'issues'. A tweaking of the colors perhaps, to try to get the red/green contrasting/vivid more, who knows. Good fit for username. Good capture. Like the composition and 640x640.

Background is too far out of focus to make DOF useful in this image. As it is, it's a face against a [slight] collage of colors. Bringing the background into better focus or adding something more colorful would've helped.

The face is slightly yellowish. It would have been nice to have a catchlights in the eyes or if the eyes were slightly brighter. I think the face should be a bit brighter.
It would also have been nice had the background been more interesting instead of almost totally white.
I like the composition though.
