one for sorrowby SkipComment by Art Roflmao: Agree with Tammer - the tattered look of the bird is what appealed to me. I gave it a 7.
Coincidentally, I just saw "A Murder of Crows" (1999 DVD) this past weekend where the title was explained in the movie's dialog.
Very nice work, Skip. "shrug" is about all you can do. ...other than scratch your head. :D |

one for sorrowby SkipComment by Tammer: For me, it's the "ratty" quality of the feathers that sets this above the usual DPC bird in the sky shot. That and the tilted sky composition. Well done. Hope this makes the front page! |

one for sorrowby SkipComment by Melethia: two for joy, three for girls and four for boys... Great song. Really ragged bird which suits the title well. |

one for sorrowby SkipComment by MaryO: Reminds me of images of the mythical phoenix. Raggedy feathers are kind of poignant. |

one for sorrowby SkipComment by LadyK: this is excellent. the only problem for me is the oversaturation of the sky. other then that this is ten ten ten!!! |

BLT+cheeseby SkipComment by talj: Just navigated my way here via your proposal shots and wanted to say this is great! I love the DOF here and the fact that you have a small section of every layer in perfect focus, very nicely done :-) |
