Every time I see an image like this I swear I'm going to go hot air ballooning. Gorgeous colors. Superb clarity and composition. I really like the one almost out of frame at the top left. But although there is some sky in here, I think the image is more about the balloons.

I can't really see the triangles in the photo, so it doesn't meet the challenge very much, but the photo is very good and the choice for b&w is very good.

Love the balloons, and a very nicely exposed shot. However, I'm seeing the subject as the balloons and not the sky. Once could argue that they are "in" the sky but I'm knocking a point off for my perceived DNMC.

The range of blue you've captured in the sky is amazing! The details and contrast of the balloons are great too. For any other reason this is a perfect shot, however, I would have loved to have had only a single balloon to add interest to the shot of the sky for this particular challenge as I feel the skyscape theme is reduced.. But the photo wouldn't have been as good overall.
