| got to love balloons...even though this could easily be about the balloons I like the prospective of looking up to the sky... |

I like this a lot, but I honestly don't think it's a good representation of the challenge since the balloons are clearly the subject here, not the cloudless sky.
I considered entering a shot from our area's air show, but I know those shots weren't appropriate for the challenge since the planes were the subjects. Like I said, excellent shot, but gotta knock a couple points down for missing the intent of the challenge. |

| Every time I see an image like this I swear I'm going to go hot air ballooning. Gorgeous colors. Superb clarity and composition. I really like the one almost out of frame at the top left. But although there is some sky in here, I think the image is more about the balloons. |

| Love the balloons, and a very nicely exposed shot. However, I'm seeing the subject as the balloons and not the sky. Once could argue that they are "in" the sky but I'm knocking a point off for my perceived DNMC. |

| The range of blue you've captured in the sky is amazing! The details and contrast of the balloons are great too. For any other reason this is a perfect shot, however, I would have loved to have had only a single balloon to add interest to the shot of the sky for this particular challenge as I feel the skyscape theme is reduced.. But the photo wouldn't have been as good overall. |
