M/Wby Thousands_FallComment by drgsoell: The color is interesting. Was it that color in real life or did you tweak the hue? The sign in the middle just begs for people to stare at it and try to figure out what is on it (I finally did after looking for a while). Might have worked better zoomed back a bit to see the light patters on the ceiling instead of the bricks below. |

My Loveby Thousands_FallComment by hopper: looks like her hair was probably moving when you took the shot, also maybe a little under exposed. The crop and closeness gives it a nice feel though. |

M/Wby Thousands_FallComment by BeeGee: I have a very bright screen and still I can barely guess the two figures on that sign. Plus I don't quite see the extraordinary element in this. Sorry, doesn't work for me. |

My Loveby Thousands_FallComment by photom: I think that's the exact title of the last one I voted on! Your image has a very "moody" feel and an unusual composition. Focus on the eyes seems a bit soft. |

My Loveby Thousands_FallComment by e301: Of course one is open to misunderstanding taking a stance on the challenge theme, but it seems to me the 'formal studio portrait' element was pretty strongly stated. This looks like a crop from a snapshot, I fear: weak and indistinct lighting, poor processing; a certainn moodiness, but the cropping lets it down and doesn't bring much life to the image. It seems the kind of thing that would benefit hugely from a black and white presentation - and that tells as much about its suitability for this challenge as anything else. 3 |

My Loveby Thousands_FallComment by dacrazyrn: Nice composition and getting close. It is a touch out of focus. Always want the eyes to have good focus on them. |

My Loveby Thousands_FallComment by Philos: Well, you like this shot offcourse, because she is your love, but to me it looks out of focus.
A bit more sharpness would do this portrait good IMHO. |

My Loveby Thousands_FallComment by kevrobertson: I quite like this shot.
It's technically not the greatest, but i like her expression and the way you have posed her
Good luck
This shot looks so much better in the thumbnail. I keep looking at it in the thumbnail and wondering why i only scored it a 7. Well i'm going to bump it up anyway. |
