Ruffled Feathersby crikComment by EL-ROI: Sea-pigeons are a great subject. I like the cool blue color on this one. I think this could be improved with a longer shutter speed. You got the focus down ok. But I think you could have metered of the feathers on the breast, instead of off the blue feathers. The feathers on the breast are brighter and you would have gotten maximum detail with a shorter shutter speed by metering off the highlight area of the breast. |

Strolling On A Winter Dayby crikComment by Neat: With a bit of PP this could of looked more interesting, it just looks a bit stale and boring though!! Maybe black and white would of helped the scene, and softening the trees, or using a larger aperture to blur out the background next time.
You have the comp spot on though ;) I gave you a 6. |

Danceby crikComment by h2: The sculpture represents the art of dance as well as the art of sculpting; it is well photographed, too; however, the essence of this image is the work of the sculptor, not the photographer.6 |

Eat More Applesby crikComment by Bilberry: A lovely idea but this row of apples is too regimented. Even a different angle of view would help to give the image a lift. |

Sageby crikComment by markwiley: Interesting light, great texture and focal point. I cannot explain why this did not garner a few comments and finish higher. Nice shot. |

Standing Tall Above the Cityby crikComment by jomari: A really good illustration of the theme. That building absolutely dwarfs its neighbours. It appears to be wider at the top - is that for real? |
