Warmthby SDWComment by SJCarter: This is really a nice shot. Aptly named too - it reeks of warmth. Great focus and composition (although IMHO the crop may be just a tad tight on the top). Nice warm tonal range - I even like the border. :-)

One intriguing aspect: whereas the overexposure in the corner would normally be a deficit, it works well here, to provide the source of the warmth. In fact, if you have a bit more of that area that you cropped out, it might be good to include just a bit more in the shot! |

Warmthby SDWComment by bfox2: I think this shot is wonderful and I wish my monitor werent so awful so I could get all the detail :( I think to bring a little more emphasis on the reeds you might try cropping it so that its more vertical rather than square. Maybe bring in the right or left side, or crop off a little of both. |

Forgive me if I'm off on this, but this looks like a really well photoshop rescued pic. I voted another pic down because the visual cue on this pic is an antlered animal. The visual relationship to branch is a little too much for me. Not beyond reason though. |
