Bumping up, really still does not appeal to me ;-), however being honest with myself, I have to re evaluate my prejudice and look at it with a focussed mind. Knowing the members I'm sure they will score this well.

This scores high for originality and creativity. Artistically, I especially like the sharp distinction between the contrast in the flute and the female. Well done and tastefully executed in that regard. I think the lighting on the candles is a bit harsh and there is a distinct blue cast. Doesn't really detract too much, but I'm just noting that as a possibility for further refinement. One other issue from an artistic standpoint: there is a lot of drip on the table surface which creates some chaos in the overall presentation. I think a quick clean-up could have been in order for more refinement in the artistic aspect. One other suggestion which may, or may not work, is that the table surface could have been covered with a matte or non-reflective cloth which may add further mystery to this dramatic shot.

Reflections of a Spoon

When I first saw this I thought Wow! But when I looked closer I saw the reflections in the top of the spoon and was a little disappointed. I don't know of a way that could have been prevented since I'm pretty new, but it really takes away from an otherwise wonderful idea, sorry. I also would have liked to see a more crisp color for the background to make the spoon and flower reflections really stand out.
