You know the wall is rough cause you were there... I can't really 'see' the roughness in the photo though. I think to make this shot work you would have needed to get your feet wet... literially... a close up of the water coming down the red part of the wall would be more interesting. Of course, that's just me.

Wow, really fun picture. Would it have been possible to get more squarely on to the window instead of off to the side? Or maybe to have straightened things up a bit in an editing program? Love the little girl's (?) hands up against the glass. Wish the other child's head wasn't being blocked by the rail. Nice timing as the one seal was banking and flippers outstretched.

Cute shot. I'm not sure if this works (don't have time to try it now), but you can also add interest sometimes by making the water level and the children angled to change the perspective a bit (just a thought).

It needs better framing. Cut out the top of the imge, bar at the bottom. Story is about girl and seal, focus on them. COlor of the water is great - it should fill out whole background.

You could run some filters on this and make it look like one of those "island paintings" which are so popular on greeting cards. I'd try and lose some of the reflection on the right though.
