I cant stop thinking what would have happened if you had let go (and then giggling a little at the thought of the dog going off on its own little adventure among the tree-tops - reminds me of that pixar film Up) - i assume those balloons arent actually lifting the dog but some wire is attached to the tree?

Oh, I can just imagine the fun you had shooting this. Give that kid a medal for the expression. I bet she was probably having hard time keeping her face serious. I would giggle too. The dog look just cracks me up, man. This is one amazing awesome photo.
