Of course, you complicated your challenge by using the gelatin. here you have a density problem where the the stuff goes from red to almost purple black. You have a very good picture and to make it super all you need do is take the dodger tool and work on the heavy mass to bring out some of the red. In this way, it will match the shade in the mouth. You do not want to overdo it, just enough to give the viewer a little help with the association. Still, it is a very pleasing study.
