9/1by jdannelsComment by Mitch55: Interesting - this held my attention longer that I would expect for a simple photo. The foreground object (a broken sand dollar, I think) is a little small for my taste, and the vignetting at first looked like a flash that lit the center of the frame. |

Week 2by jdannelsComment by WeJay: WoW! This is deep man. Thanks for sharing your method. Interesting.
I like the landscapes in your portfolio along with other shots! There is a certain neatness in your composition (without them become plastic),
that is wonderful. Now I can guess what care you take to compose.
Wonderful shot! Does this kind of composition come immediately or in an instant. I ask this question because in the picture above, you might not have much time to compose and shoot, as the subject is a person. |

Don't I wish!
Great work, Joe. The rhythm and symmetry play off of one another quite nicely. |

101 MONTGOMERYby jdannelsComment by GeneralE: "I can only assume these two were secret agents and the man behind the curtain was a spy"
Or maybe the Wizard of Oz. :-)
Interesting geometry -- the reflection is not quite a "mirror-image" ...
Congratulations! I'm sure if I'd shot this it would have finished about 50 places lower ... ;-) |
