Autumnby jdannelsComment by notesinstones: The lighting is diving, though I wish there had been a less centered horizon and more focus drawn to the fisherman in the distance. You have a great leading line right to him, and an awesome reflection and color tone right in that spot. A different crop maybe? |

Autumnby jdannelsComment by vtruan: not sure what it is, but your shot doesn't look natural. Over processing? |

Caravanby jdannelsComment by roz: love the way your panning has created great movement & duplication of the horses legs .. |

Anyway. How'd you do this? I'm trying to decide if this is panning or not, how would you get those lines to go upwards at the edges at the top, and downwards at the edges at the bottom, if it was panning? |
Yeah it was just panning when they went by, but I had my Sigma wide angle at 10 mm so when I use that lens like this you can really find the distortion, I think I had the camera a little angled down to add to the bent perspective too. |
Thanks! Panning with the wide angle, and it gives you these lines going outwards. Wow. Something else to experiment with. |

Caravanby jdannelsComment by ursula: Yeah, so you did :) Jutilda thought of the Mounties when she saw this? Weird. The Mounties where I live drive regular police cars :)

Caravanby jdannelsComment by Jutilda: Something about those sweeping lines. I love motion blur. The Canadian Mounties immediately came to mind. ;~D |
