Great detail on the face. The crop seems a tad tight. I guess you found my long lost brother!

*Critique Club*

Just so you know, I am not the best critiquer! I do the best I can to try to give advice on what I see. This is only my opinion, but I guess you want it because you checked the box. So I will try to give you something that is helpful.

I like the idea of the princess and the frog. I like the diffuse glow too. I think that this image would have been better with a real frog. A Princess wouldn't kiss a valentine figure/toy.

The diffuse glow is nice and it creates a magical feel, but at the same time it causes you to loose a lot of detail. This method worked well on the girls face, but not the frog or her hand. The background is hard to make out but you can tell that there is something there and that is distracting. Overall, I think that this picture is cute and you rec a great score considering all the wonderful entries into this challenge. Good Luck on future challenges and hats off to you for being creative.

Greetings from the Critique Club

YOu have a good image and a good score. Congratulations.

Technically, I think your other commentors have made some good suggestions and I expect you will follow through with them to see if they are helpful.

I have a couple of compositional suggestions. Your mountain peaks lean towards the right side of the frame. Actually, if you check I think you will find that all of the interest in this image is on the right side of the frame. So, I suggest trying to compose your image a bit more to the left to keep the viewer in the picture for a longer period of time. Then, there is quite a lot of sky in this composition. I think it could be exceptionally effective if you lost about 1/3 of the sky that is showing. This would help focus the viewer on the center of interest, first the foreground peak, and then the follow-through background peak.

I wish you continued success in your DPChallenge experience.
