Playful idea I had with the frog/prince concept. My daughter had fun with it. To make it more mystical type love I cropped just slightly, used levels to bring out the features I wanted, then used diffuse glow to give it the mystical feel.

*Critique Club*

Just so you know, I am not the best critiquer! I do the best I can to try to give advice on what I see. This is only my opinion, but I guess you want it because you checked the box. So I will try to give you something that is helpful.

I like the idea of the princess and the frog. I like the diffuse glow too. I think that this image would have been better with a real frog. A Princess wouldn't kiss a valentine figure/toy.

The diffuse glow is nice and it creates a magical feel, but at the same time it causes you to loose a lot of detail. This method worked well on the girls face, but not the frog or her hand. The background is hard to make out but you can tell that there is something there and that is distracting. Overall, I think that this picture is cute and you rec a great score considering all the wonderful entries into this challenge. Good Luck on future challenges and hats off to you for being creative.

I like the colors and composition - but too much noise. 6

I really don't like all that lipstick on a little girl.

I like the grain, and the statement. Would be a perfect shot if not for the border.

thank you for being different - I love the texture, the dark shapes in the background puzzle me and draw my attention from a terrific foreground. The frog and the girl on a white background with that texture and you've got a 9 - 7 as is - nice work

This is great! I really like the grain on this one. It fits very well. Great model for a pose like that too!

I like the composition of this photo, however I think the grain could be a little softer. Also, I don't really like the faded border, especially around the gal's head (top right).

Neat grain and saturation, but the edges kind of make it look like a button.

I like the offset image and the overall feel and texture of the shot. I guess you were going for the princess kissing the toad(?) Regardless a well done shot. Great colors and the soft lighting works well here --8--

Very cute. The red lips really make the shot. I like the graininess of it - with the old timey looking I LOVE YOU figure. Very cute.

I think this works as a greeting card. The composition is nice and the red colours realy stand out nicely. For a greeting card, Ithink that the grain works.
