Artistic Skaterby MakkaComment by Rikki: Sharp focus and capture of this image I might say :) Too bad you can't see the top of her head due to her hand. The motion blur (although slight) is great and effective because of the crispness of the capture. They still roller skate in Perth??? LOL! |

Wedding Kissby MakkaComment by Rikki: The contrast seems a bit low on this image. I would also crop the right hand side as that tree is a slight distraction. This might also look good tightly cropped. Are those bubbles in the pond? Seems like my eye takes me there every now and then. Clone time? |

Lachlan Playing Footballby MakkaComment by Rikki: This is a fun shot. I would probably crop or clone the distracting people on the top of the frame and clone out that little boy just above his head. boost the saturation in the grass and this would be a great image. perfect when he's all grown up - a chance to embarass him someday :) Perfect catch though :) |

Self Portraitby MakkaComment by Rikki: Holy crap mate! You've gone to the dark side! I wouldn't change a thing in this image. the lighting is spot on and the desatis perfect to bring out your blue eyes. If I may say so, your stare would scare the pants out of me if I met you in a dark alley on 42nd street :) Great job! |

Tree Linesby MakkaComment by LadeeM: I agree with rikki. B&W would add some mood to it. I would try burning and dodging, too, to emphasize the bare limbs. Message edited by author 2005-10-21 22:21:45. |

Darker side of the apple!by MakkaComment by LadeeM: I like how the apple seems to almost be floating. There's just enough light to bring out the details. Maybe a different crop (rule of thirds) to add more interest. But really like the lighting and your use of empty space. |

Self Portraitby MakkaComment by LadeeM: Wow! Very moody. Your lighting is awesome, and the PP to bring out the blue eye is great. You did an awesome job on this. |
