and i totally sympathize with you re the backing up etc ... i just recently bought a 120gb external hard drive so i could back up all my work .. unfortunately i filled it up with all the 'necessary' images i wanted to keep .. i even went thru my photographs and ruthlessly deleted most of my RAW files coz they are so big .. 15mg per file !! .. i'm down to 9gb on my added internal hard drive which was new a few months ago .. i then bought another external hard drive .. its 160gb .. i havent started transferring to it yet ..
my filing system on my computer leaves a lot to be desired .. i have my photographs and then i have another place where i work on them .. i started out keeping all my photographs and then i'd copy over to my working area .. i'v changed that type of system now coz i was going thru my gb's too fast ..
i keep thinking of new and better ways to do it, then i think of a reason why its not better ... HELP !!! ..:):):)

Huh. It's remarkable to me that people didn't 'get' this shot. Perfect capture of a particular era... Tones are great, slight softness of focus is not only ok but absolutely necessary to preserve the feel. on my monitor it could use just a touch more contrast, perhaps? Maybe that's just a personal taste thing. But a finely crafted image nonetheless.

I didn't vote this, but I would have given an 8 or a 9.

a wonderful image. i gave it an 8. i knew it would be sorely unappreciated. i ilke not only the image, and the construction of it, but also the fact that you had the guts to submit an image so wonderfully, deceptively, simple to an expert editing challenge. well done indeed!
