what a sad scene:( i cant wait til spring. if i were you i might have left a bit more room at the bottom of the screen, so the branch holding the apple would be seperated from the edge of the pic.

Beautiful sunset with striking colors. The pole is aligned with the rule of thirds, though the flag is a bit above it. The composition might be stronger with a bit more space above the flag. I also would have like to have seen more of the flag -- if you could have caught this with more of a breeze (maybe difficult if this required a slow shutter speed).
