15th Centuryby lsmartComment by JunieMoon: I like the way the doors are all together. It seems to have too much in the image, though, but I can't figure out what would be the best part to focus on. My eye is drawn mostly to the door with the stairs showing, or the tower in the background. Anyway, it is a complicated image that has great potential to draw out many aspects of it in several crops, without losing interest. I have been looking at this image for about 2 minutes, and the longer I look, the better I like what you did here. I hope others do the same, otherwise it will be underrated. |

15th Centuryby lsmartComment by pineapple: Colours and forms are beautiful on this one. The light is excellent. BY the way, I like the frame as well. |

15th Centuryby lsmartComment by inspir8tion: I really like this picture, but it is a little bland to me. I threw it into photoshop and bumped up the contrast to +35 and put the brightness at -10 and it made for a richer photograph (IMO). Lastly, the bricks on the lower right, I selected them did USM on them and the details became more clear. |

A Break in Londonby lsmartComment by lsmart: alexsaberi, thanks for your comment. Appreciated.
Answering your question, It is just one image. The wide dinamic range obliged me to get almost dark the foreground and after to apply levels by selected areas. It caused this effect between the dark zone and the rest but at the same time made me think of a kind of differentiation between the "real and troublesome" daily life and the more colourful, and glamorous tourist London, and......just... I liked it. Message edited by author 2006-04-12 14:10:33. |
