So that's what they mean by a "watched pot!" Nice capture - I especially like the red in the heating coil. Not sure the side wall does much for the image.

Interesting subject, but the image has some problems with too little contrast, generally poor light, and the interesting part of the subject is at the extreme right, with not much else to attract my eye

Nice concept. It is however, a bit overexposed and tilted. The tilt is easy to fix in PS. Message me after the challenge if you need help with this issue. The overexposure looks to be due to on board flash. Not using flash and using a tripod would help with this...
