Portland Headlightby csbComment by crisa58: somehow I like this better as a thumbnail than full size...but either way I really like it. the lines show better small, the gentle curve in the lower half. nicely done. crisa58 |

Portland Headlightby csbComment by DougPaz: Great shot, I imagine you will get some folks that will complain that it is too dark but I like the colors and saturation. Very nicely composed as well. |

Portland Headlightby csbComment by Kaz: One of my favorite spots. I guess our corners of the world are pretty close! Nice job, love those blues. Kaz |

Portland Headlightby csbComment by alanfreed: Ah -- I'm a sucker for this kind of shot! That's beautiful -- it should be on a calendar! My only comment would be that it appears to be just slightly dark on my monitor, but otherwise it's still a 9. |

Portland Headlightby csbComment by jmsetzler: I REALLY love this subject and composition. I think this is one of the most well composed photos in this challenge. The lighting or the something here is not right... I don't know if it is a negative brightness adjustment or if it was just not a brightly lit subject... I would definitely score this photo a 10 if the color wasn't so flat... great work... = 8 - jmsetzler |

The Choice of An Old Generationby csbComment by csb: heh ;) Thanks all for the comments (if you ever read this). The "motion blur" is there just to break up the boredom of a tradition still life. It has no special meaning, although this photo is the first in a personal series that will eventually become a shot of an old pepsi bottle fading into a new pepsi bottle (or can). This shot was attained by moving the tripod along its lateral axis at the beginning of a 2 second exposure, under 100% natural light shining through the window. Exposure compensation was maxed out. |
