Very interesting image. I like the use of negative space.. Just enough clouds to provide interest without being overbearing. I really like the angle. Colourisation and sharpness look good too. I'm very surprised this got a 5.28. I'd have given it, probably and 8. Getting to the stage where I think 'I really rate this image, it would go on my wall'. In fact, I'm promoting it to a 9.

PS. It's amazing how useful the 18-55 is, isn't it?? :-)

Some details that could account for the low score you received: lighting on the underside of the bridge is uneven, is that reflections from the water? Also the lines between the bridge and the cables from which it is hanging seem out of focus, maybe because they're moving (you don't specify shutter speed, so I may be wrong here). And the fact that the sky in the bottom left corner isn't as saturated as the rest makes this less than perfect. I do feel that these details aren't major, your overall score seems a bit low to me.

Wonderful subtle tones kept. One of my favorites!! I don't think I would have ever seen the opportunity and executed it so well!! This is de-sat used as it should be and really shines.
