New Scienceby Prime_TimeComment by greigner: I like this shot - would have been better (in my humble opinion to have the subject centered in the shot - but a great shot nonetheless |

New Scienceby Prime_TimeComment by idezine: I think the shot is great over all. I just have two critiques, and I tihnk they both arrive from the same issue (im guessing) not enough light. A higher f stop would have kept the whole shoe in focus. Second critique is contrast, when looking at the main shadow looks like you pulled the contrast, cureves or levels, a little too much, it works for the shoe but kills the shadow. But who am I too say all of this. Still a great shot! (9) |

New Scienceby Prime_TimeComment by Caine: Poor composition with far too much space to the left, and the "technology" which is supposed to be the focus of the shot is being hidden/buried behind the boot. If a spring on a boot is the theme I think an action/moving shot indicating bouncing would have been stronger. |

Just Milkby Prime_TimeComment by 1olddawg: The actual moment of clicking and the angle of the subject is exellent. The color choice for the background is disatrous. This could have ben a high score image. Unfortunately your choice of drab bkgrnd color puts it near the bottom |

Just Milkby Prime_TimeComment by birgir: One of the best splash pictures in this challenge but two things that I don't like ... first is the quality and I am guessing that you have compact camera, not the high-speed 8 MegaPixel that so many people have today so I am not going to lower your score because of the quality but another thing is that in the lower left corner I can see where the foot of the glass starts and it think you should have cropped thet a litle more try rotate the image about 2 degress and crop after that so it will be even .... blah ... sorry my english is terrible but I hope you get what I mean ... 9 |
