The actual moment of clicking and the angle of the subject is exellent. The color choice for the background is disatrous. This could have ben a high score image. Unfortunately your choice of drab bkgrnd color puts it near the bottom

One of the best splash pictures in this challenge but two things that I don't like ... first is the quality and I am guessing that you have compact camera, not the high-speed 8 MegaPixel that so many people have today so I am not going to lower your score because of the quality but another thing is that in the lower left corner I can see where the foot of the glass starts and it think you should have cropped thet a litle more try rotate the image about 2 degress and crop after that so it will be even .... blah ... sorry my english is terrible but I hope you get what I mean ... 9

Different color for the background would have been a bit more effective. Nice concept though.

Makes for a nice abstract design. How was this done?

The lack of distinction between the container and the background makes me get lost in this picture.

It's good, I do miss a bit more contrast though. 7.

Things I'm looking for in a milk splash picture. 1) Is the object in focus (can't see it here) 2) Is the splash well frozen (yes, although portions are out of focus) 3) Is the splash well defined from its background? (yes) The angle composition gives a little more flavor to the picture which may suffer a little from the pure monochromality (if that's a word). 7.

nice and crisp. good capture showing technical prowess. aesthetically, I don't think I like the edges of the glass being tangential with the picture frame.

i love how you got so much detail in a monochromatic photo. This was my highest rated shot of the challenge. nice job.

I don't like how the cup kind of blends into the background. Not very original. but a nice attempt.

7 - Nice simple shot. Criticism; just needs some 'oomph' in my opinion, not sure what, perhaps the background, perhaps the lighting, not sure. I like the crop and the angle. Perhaps more 'height' might have helped make this a better shot, not sure. The frame doesn't suit this in my opinion, especially with the DP 'blue' page color, could have used it more effectively with your coloring in this shot without a frame.

so clear!! i like it! best one so far. only one suggestion: select a background with a complementing color, as opposed to the cup's exact color.

I like the white on "white." The black frame is a bit distracting, personally, but does not effect my score. . .

nice white on white without overexposing (or avoiding OE by not having enough light)
