I think this would be a lot cooler without that title. It encourages the viewer not to take it seriously, when it actually has a lot of artistic merit (at least to me). I love the way the eyes are stretched out like that :). Very weird and surreal.

This is a great overall image and evokes emotions from the viewer. I don't agree with the comment of cropping out the hydrant, because it gives the viewer an idea of where you took the photo. Nice job shooting into the sun.

Thank you for your comments on my photo �Basket Case�. I suspected I might receive a few remarks as to the insensitivity of the title. After following the posts in the forums over the last several weeks regarding titles, I was curious as to how this would be accepted. I believe the impact of this photo speaks for itself. The emotion it brings out is exactly what I had hoped to capture. Can you imagine seeing this in person? It is very clear to me that you truly care and have genuine concern for the well being of the homeless, -That�s exactly why I took this picture-

My reaction when I saw the title and THEN the pic: "Oh no!" Real graphic shot of homeless people having it rough. Nice composition of: 1. clear (I can see everything clearly) and 2. shadows.
