The Dock Houseby GotchaComment by lisae: Beautiful colours and textures. I love the composition. It's just a very, very cool photo. I'm not sure if it qualifies well as stock though, because it's such an unusual structure. |

The Dock Houseby GotchaComment by Swashbuckler: I really like this photo! Great color and clarity. The details of the building really show through. Small suggestion - crop a tiny bit off the left as unneeded tree coming out of "nowhere", etc. 9 Swash |

Another Man's Treasure by GotchaComment by rainbow: I think that this is a very powerful photograph. The image it conveys is powerfully presented. The composition is great as a lot of the elements have been placed on the thirds. The railings behind the man add to the despair of the tramp as it makes him look like he is behind bars. I think it was a right choice to use black and white, colour would have been inappropriate. In short, I liked it. |

We meet again!!
COMPOSITION
The composition of this shot is very strong. The faces on the left direct the eyes into the shot, then the face on the right directs it up and to the right, out of the frame. I would suggest at tighter crop on the right, but I am afraid that might make it a bit tight, and thus it would feel unbalanced. A tighter crop at the bottom, though, and maybe more at the top wouldn't hurt, I don't think, unless there was soemthing up there you didn't want us to see.
TECHNIQUE
I like the dominance of the color in this one. It meets the challenge well. The softer focus of it adds to the overall effect for me, though I am sure there are some that might not like it. There are some places with a touch too much noise, I think, but I am not sure how you could fix it without losing too much detail elsewhere. Maybe use NEATIMAGE, or some equivalent, with the lowest possible settings. The couple of spots that are almost blown out look like to me that maybe you oversaturated a bit, rather than exposing improperly.
OVERALL EFFECT
This shot has a spiritual, mystical, spooky feeling to it. It reminds me of pictures/artwork that are used to illustrate mythology books. My first thought was lost spirits coming out, or trying to come out of hades. I believe haunting is the word I am looking for. This is a haunting picture.
Once again, you have done well. Congrats

The Dock Houseby GotchaComment by joanns: This is a gorgeous photo. I love the detail and the lighting. My vavorite part is the little sun porch, can you imagine sitting out there? It doesn't look very stable. I think it's cropped just a little close on the right but nevertheless, it's a very nice photo. |

Another Man's Treasure by GotchaComment by Allen: i think by by shoting this picture probably didnt do much for this person. I think that you should have found something else insted of showing how misseriable someones life is. |
