In The Redby debitiptonComment by gerdagrice: I like this picture a lot, but the little girl is not really right in the centre of the frame. She is a bit to the right of centre. |

In The Redby debitiptonComment by Olyuzi: Wonderful composition and portrait. Lighting is very good. Only thing I could say to slightly widen your crop so that you don't cut off one of the red bars in the bottom right. Well done! |

In The Redby debitiptonComment by wkoffel: nice shot, but doesn't scream "centered" to me. The subject isn't quite centered, and the lines lead the eye up and down more than resting in the middle. |

Baby Bluesby debitiptonComment by cghubbell: Foreground blurring is a problem here. Also, the point of view obstructs the subject enough to be distracting. |

Baby Bluesby debitiptonComment by Tranquil: Great find...I like how the whyole composition is surrounding the eggs, almost trying to keep them safe. |

Baby Bluesby debitiptonComment by L1: How neat to find this...where was it during serendipity? :o)
Really well-made photo. Like the DOF and the framing. |

Baby Bluesby debitiptonComment by MrAkamai: Great job cropping and use of DOF. Some might think the leaves are distracting but I think they frame the bottom and right side well. Nice color of the eggs even though I have no idea what kind of bird would lay blue eggs. |

Baby Bluesby debitiptonComment by Dave Gordon: I like the color of the eggs against the neutral nest. I find the out of focus leaves in the foreground very distracting. I don't know whether you would get into trouble removing them (are they weeds or intentional plants?). If so, better depth of field could be a solution, or a higher camera positon to drop them below the angle of view. |

Baby Bluesby debitiptonComment by PDavis: Good find! What type of bird lays blue eggs? Blue bird? I like the use of your DOF. It is very effective. Good job! |
