togane.jpgby MAKComment by rasdub: This is a fantastic shot Marac. This would be perfect for a golf calendar or any golf lovers wall for that matter. Very nice colors and I like the overall smooth look to the picture. Good use of the curves of the water, green, and bridge.

Biggus Wheelusby MAKComment by DeniseBernadette: Nice shot. I love the colors of the ferris wheel. It's a shame the sky was so white that day! It would have looked great against a bright blue sky. |

Peace of Mindby MAKComment by Jutilda: Very pretty and soothing. I like the red flowers in the foreground. The velvety water is very peaceful indeed. Nicely composed. |

Biggus Wheelusby MAKComment by gaeali: This works for me as far as the composition is concerned. I do however, prefer higher color sat. That's just me though. |

summervine.jpgby MAKComment by L1: This would have done well in Rule of Thirds. Nice placement, nice colors. Good work. :) |

bugslife.jpgby MAKComment by Pug-H: These guys are very common and will often pose for the camera, unlike, say, the red or blue ones, or the really big oniyanma. (And damselflies are pretty hard to capture, too).
I agree that the front eye should be more in focus, but I know it's really hard to do when you're working with such shallow DOF and trying to hold the camera still, etc. And, yep, crop off a bit of the blurry foreground. |

bugslife.jpgby MAKComment by Neil: Looks like a good sharp capture. Lighting seems pretty good as well. I suggest cropping the right significantly, taking his head out of the center. I'm not a slave to the rule of thirds, but this doesn't appear to be a case of exception. |
