Odetteby MAKComment by bubeltrubel: this swan looks so pridfully! The big darkness around him and his reflections works very well! it's a great shot!
But, sorry, can't see any softness; too bad... |

Still Life with Peachesby MAKComment by Pug-H: This indeed is very much like a real painting. Great effort, Mak. The only thing that doesn't quite ring true as a painting is the quality of the reflected light on the vase.
You should check out this gal's folder; she was featured in Popular Photo magazine, Oct 07 (I saw it today in the library, and thought of your photo here...) |

Still on the moveby MAKComment by Les_Feck: Beautiful still life. I don't see the motion. I think I know what you were going for but that would be perceived, and not actual motion. This will be a great test of the concept of the relevance of DNMC votes. If this were free study I'd give it an 8 or 9. Since the intent is there and it's not a shoehorn or outright attempt not to meet the challenge, I will still give it a passing score of 5. Sorry.
If it turns out this ribbons and everyone reading my comments afterwards thinks I'm a close minded idiot for not seeing how perfectly well this shot fit the challenge, I'm holding you personally responsible :) |

Still on the moveby MAKComment by FXFortune: I am not sure about this interpretation, good photographic technique and the two tone adds a nice touch, nice and sharp and the composition is good. |
