wonderful darkness... By not showing his face you move the attention to the bass and the fingers. Very good.

Good lighting. Would it work better if the bass wasn't vertical - perhaps rotate the image 10 or 20 degrees?

centered composition works nicely. lightin is good except for the arm. you created a good moody picture

I like the lighting technique and the effect, I wish you had brought it up on his face just a bit more. But overall nicely done. I might have left a little more negative space on the left and not had it so centered though.
