Womanby MAKComment by pamelasue: I think that theres a bit of a conflict with the extreme sharpness and detail in her skin ... and the softness of her hair and the background ... |

Still on the moveby MAKComment by Bear_Music: It's an interesting shor, and nicely done, but you certainly flew in the face of the challenge description, which said "Create an interesting still life photo, but with a catch! To contrast your still life subject, you should have something separate in the photograph that is moving."
It's no surprise the voters took a literal view of this and scored you down for "lack of blur".

Womanby MAKComment by KarenNfld: Lovely girl. I think it is a bit too centered for my tastes and the glare on her face is not that flattering, sorry. |

Still on the moveby MAKComment by Moatz: I didn't vote in this challenge, but I really liked your take on the challenge, and would have given it an 8. Very creative! I also think it would have been cool to somehow have the wine in the glass splashing a little, so you know, as the picture is being carried away, the wine is splashing from being moved. Just an idea! :)
P.S.-For future reference, lemon juice works really well to keep your apples from browning once they've been cut. Or if you plan to eat them afterwords, than 7-Up work too, and tastes better than lemon juice. Unless of course you were going for that look, in which case just ignore me! =) |

Womanby MAKComment by Ivory: Nice portrait of a pretty woman. For me it would have been nicer if there were more light at the right side of her face and more shadow on the left to create more depth and interest. But still a shot I am sure she is pleased with. |

Womanby MAKComment by figaro: Well lit and an unusual choice of colour for your background. However if I'm being honest there doesn't seem to be anything interesting in her expression. I don't feel any sort of communication or empathy with the subject. It's all a subjective thing and others will probably think differently. |

Still on the moveby MAKComment by yanko: I wish you didn't selectively desaturated it. I assume that was done to hide the differences between what's real and what isn't? You did a great job lining things up but to me it still looks like an actual painting being photographed in front of a real table. |
