Very interesting style of editing you used. The emphasis of the hairs adds an element for me which leaves me on the fence. It makes it appear drawn or created rather then captured. Though still I scored higher because of the closeness and clarity of the image with well balanced colour.

noisy, dirty, gritty, real, day-to-day, AWESOME candid. I LOVE those parts of it. I know this kind of thing is near impossible to plan for, as is the nature of the challenge, but I can't get settled in with the framing of this picture. My brain can't decide if it wants to see the stairs, dude, or hallway. And it distracts from being able to 'fall into the moment'.
