A1010444by MAKComment by krnodil: so much depth to this, amazingly well-composed - alternating light and shadow all the way in |

A1010444by MAKComment by nam: I love geometry in a landscape - always somehow unexpected and expected at the same time. Lovely the way the foreground triangles overlap, the way the midline dips to cradle that lit mountain in the center, and the way the sky balances the earth. |

A1010444by MAKComment by Ecce_Signum: Oh, helloo. This is a similar valley to one I drive over to the coast on (missing a river). Ordinarily the dark mid section hills would be off putting for me but it makes the light in the far distance even more welcome. You have crammed a lot into this little square. |

A1010507-Editby MAKComment by krnodil: great natural framing in this square on 3 sides with that fantastic tree
I agree with Nikki, that if it had been possible at the time, to have tried shooting from an angle that placed her head somewhere under or nearer the land horizon, but as I type this I can't think why it would be preferable...although too, the land all sloping in towards her head do make for good leading lines to your central subject. |
