I think the concept is very good, but I would've prefered a slightly different angle and composition. Maybe taking a picture from higher up would have worked better (looking down on someone's darkest hour?), and I think there's a bit too much negative space at the bottom. The highlights on the bear seem a bit burnt out, I think that's why it's difficult to make out at first, but it's actually a nice touch :)

Technically it's not a bad photo, but for some reason I'm not a huge fan of the image. Maybe it's the disheveled necklace. Maybe the background needs a little burning in... I just can't put my finger on it. -5

not a big fan of all the square lines. like her shoulders and her neck are all perfectly straight. That then makes the lines of the face straight, ie the mouth the nose the eyes and then it finishes with the stright lines in the hat.

I like this one alot. The tight crop works. I also like the PP . I'm a huge fan of the half face/ shadow thing and this is one that suits the shot perfectly.
