 This was a hard picture for me to do. A good friend of mine died a week before I took this picture. He has two young daughters similar in age to mine, so it really hit home with me. This picture was sort of a representation of his death. To me, it shows that when all is lost, including your life, that there is hope in knowing that your earthly life is just the beginning of what is to come.

sorry, but as a photographer your job is to convince me.

photographically, this is a nice picture. However, I am not convinced that this is religious.

I love the lighting on your subject but find the bear to be a bit over exposed as it took me a bit to realize what it was. I love the concept and the picture.

I really can't work out what the white thing is - a 2 headed stuffed toy? The lighting of the figure creates a powerful image.

Ok, I see the guy, and I'm struggling to make out what he's holding. It's a teddybear, right?

I think the concept is very good, but I would've prefered a slightly different angle and composition. Maybe taking a picture from higher up would have worked better (looking down on someone's darkest hour?), and I think there's a bit too much negative space at the bottom. The highlights on the bear seem a bit burnt out, I think that's why it's difficult to make out at first, but it's actually a nice touch :)
