Simple Toolsby stupidcatComment by Rankles: Little dark on the tools as you can't tell where one begins and the other ends. Nice idea though. |

Simple Toolsby stupidcatComment by muckpond: the lighting on this is pretty flat. i think it would benefit from more lighting on the tools and less on the background. |

Simple Toolsby stupidcatComment by bclements: This photograph would probably have been better in color. Not enough contrast between between the dark tools and wood background. Sharper focus on the saw would make it stand out more. |

The focus isn't on your subject quite enough, and could have benefitted from a tighter crop.. (not much, but getting rid of that W in the corner would have helped a lot.
Not being American, I could also question the tie-in to the month, but luckily I know that November is the usual election month, so I wonder if you might be suffering there as well. |
Agreed. I think I had too many reds in the photo. I will adjust before I put the print up for sale. The "W" was the first letter of our hometown but I thought it would be cool to keep it in. I felt it fit well with the President... |

OK, its focussed and he looks like he's making a point but the background is far too distracting and a calendar? You're joking right? |
First, you sound very biased and by being in the UK I know that you are. So, you admit the photo is focused and it look as though he is making a point so why not just stop there? Why bring the politics in? This is a photo challenge site. Judge my photo from that perspective. |

Once again...this is a photo challenge site (unless I am missing something), look at the photo from that point of view...That's all I ask... |
