Great detail on the stamen, with a beautiful contrast of colors. I get a feeling of urgency from the stamen with the petals helping to cool the mood.

The colors are nice, and the focus is right where it should be, but it still seems a little bland. Maybe it's the lighting? Maybe the pistil is too centered?
