I like it! It's a rusty nail, and the wood even has a rust color too. The texture is really nice here. Focus and clarity bring out the details very nicely. I think that this is a perfect shot for this challenge. Lighting is good as well. I like where you have placed the nail within the photo and there is nothing that I can find distracting. Overall very nice shot. ~Heather~

I like the composition very much and the color, but that one green line in the middle bothers me. Maybe if it had run through more of the upper square too?

I really like how you placed the nail, although if it was more rusted it would have made the nail stand out more, right now the wood seems to be the subject.

I like this minimal view........ off center placement of the nine squares balances their importance to the rusty field where they live.

Whew, those squares are almost painful to look at. Nice composition, the placement of the squares is perfect and the photo is very much suited to the challenge. The green line is rather distracting though, and there seems to be a lot of noise in the squares.
