Black and Whiteby artvetComment by Makka: I like this photo....it's a shame there's not a little more contrasting around the black cat to highlight him a little more but I think it's wonderful. |

Black and Whiteby artvetComment by trying2bstill: I am NOT a fan of cat shots,BUT this is a very nice representation of black and white. Focus is good, color looks good, 6 |

Solitudeby artvetComment by cpanaioti: I realize that the challenge is for a centred subject, however this probably would have worked better if the port-a-potty was in the lower left. |

Black and Whiteby artvetComment by lightpro1: Tough subject to light! nicely done. Bringing your main fron the same side as the black cat will help you bring detail into the black and not blow out the details in the white cat. |

Solitudeby artvetComment by Beagleboy: Too bad about that thing sticking out on the left edge. Cloning out the wires would have been good too. Interesting crop. |

Solitudeby artvetComment by awpollard: Ok, nothing draws ones attention to the center of a picture like a yellow port-a-pottie. Great Idea. |

A Dance With a Ghostby artvetComment by orussell: Composition: Subject Placement, Cropping, Background 5
Technical: Focus, Exposure, Lighting, Processing 3
Appeal: Is it Interesting, Motivating, Etc. 5
How well does it meet the challenge: 8
Total Averaged Rating(Rounded) 5
The motion blur is interesting but the overall graininess of the image and the predominant red tone takes away from the shot. |

Black and Whiteby artvetComment by Glen King: Marvelous kitty pic. Not really much to gripe about, perhaps place them on a different background to make the black one show up better. I'm pretty sure that this photo was one of oppurtunity though. Cats never do what you want. 8 |
