I didn't vote on this challenge, but I would have scored this a 6 or 7. Yes, it's busy, but so is LA. I really like those signs, and the palm tree in the corner is an extra treat.

Thanks for the kind comments Matt and David, and everyone else who commented as well. I think the shot suffered from being too "busy" and not having a clear subject. But that's the way the DPC cards fall I guess :) The setting was actually very well lit despite being 11pm at night. So that helped alot with the shutter speed and hand-holding the camera.

Hand-held?!? Woah - you must have a steady hand! I would never had guessed such a short shutter speed, either. I also think it should've placed higher than this.

One of the best in the challenge. Should be a top ten, IMO.
